About

TravisHill.org is a personal blog, owned and maintained by, you guessed it, Travis Hill. If you would like to read Travis’ resume, you may do so by visiting resume.travishill.org. Travis doesn’t like writing in the third person, so we’re gonna switch it over to Travis to give us the details about TravisHill.org. Travis:

Thanks third person version of myself. I’m sitting here at my computer desk trying to figure out what to say about my blog. It’s really nothing special. Just a small piece of virtual real estate where I may voice my views and opinions, and talk about whatever I feel like.

A little about myself that you are dying to know:

I’m very artisitic. I work hard, but play a lot harder. I’m a perfectionist. I’m very good with numbers and memorization, but I don’t understand why. I pay EXTREME attention to detail; I don’t understand this either. I’m very organized. I watch what I eat. I drink more water than anyone I know. I’m not shy. I’ve lied, and been lied too. I’ve cheated, and been cheated. I’m human. I’ve made mistakes that I’m still learning from. I know right from wrong. I dislike my job. I’m very upfront and open, if you can’t tell. Most importantly, I understand that I’m only going to live once.

I’m a son, brother, and father. I’m 30 years old.

I am interested in computers and the web. My career path of choice is Network & Communications Management. I dabble in HTML, CSS, PHP, and other programming languages.

Philosophically, I am Agnostic. Before you raise hell question about it, realize that agnosticism is the belief that you can’t prove or disprove that a diety (that’s a God; a supernatural immortal being) actually exists. Show me a picture and I may reconsider. Plus, why the need for so many Gods? Every religion has their version, they can’t all be correct, can they?

I am also an advocate for the reform of cannabis (marijuana) laws. I don’t ingest cannabis in any form, but I believe that if the law does more harm than the drug, something is wrong. Alcohol kills thousands. Cigarettes kill thousands. Cannabis kills none.

Politically, I’m…. Well, I’m a lot of things. I don’t claim one party or another. Honestly, I think our country (and our world) are a cesspool of corruption. Don’t get me wrong, I love my country, and I’m proud to be an American. I just see flaws in our system. I think governments should be reduced. I think freedom doesn’t exist in the way our forefathers wanted it to.

Other than these little things, I enjoy reading books and always expanding my knowledge. Information is power.

Thanks for reading a little about me. I hope you find something useful in my blog.
