Third Blogs A Charm

Well, you can’t say I haven’t tried. A few times, at least. Tried what, you ask? Blogging.In particular, at this domain. I’ve managed to set up and knock down two previous WordPress installs on this domain. I couldn’t tell you why, because I don’t really know. Lack of motivation? Lack of determination? Lack of (fill in the blank). Many things attributed to the rise and fall of TravisHill.org, but mainly I think TIME had the most to do with it. This is a personal blog, more or less, and monitization takes a back seat to personal thoughts and current events. And when your personal thoughts and current events revolve around other web properties, well, a personal blog finds little time for upkeep.
I’m attempting to change that. I still don’t have the time, and as a writer, honestly, I take too long. Between the many other loves in my life, I’ll have to make a small slice of time for my digital home. Maybe the release of WordPress 3.0 got my fire started? I only came here to update the core. Then one thing led to another, and here I am posting. It’s a scary thought.
